Geeks On A Beach is hosting a Lightning Pitch session which aims to highlight the geeky and visionary ideas that are being worked on by founders.The goal for the pitch sessions is for early-stage founders who are active in the last 6 months (from May to October 2024) to talk about their ventures and receive feedback from a panel of reactors.Presenters will have 3 minutes to do a pitch.
Based on the pitch and its intended objective, reactors will have a few minutes to have a dialogue with the presenter and their team to give feedback on the pitch itself, and to propose possible partnerships or areas of improvement for the business.The presentations are expected to be well-practiced and are done with the help of a visual aid or product demo (or both!).
Once a team is selected to present in the Lightning Pitch, Geeks On A Beach will offer a 40% ticket discount to a maximum of 5 team members per startup, including the presenter. Additionally, each presenter will receive a ₱1,000 Grab voucher. A modest travel subsidy is also available upon request for those who need it.
