The ninth session of the GOAB Startup Mastery Series was our second AI Show and Tell, the monthly online showcase where innovators demo the practical side of AI. This time the spotlight went to Davao City and the team at Reverion Technologies.
Who presented
- Rod Albores, Founder of Reverion Technologies. Rod is a Davao-based tech builder and blockchain advocate with a background in computer engineering, economics and international business, and more than eight years of global experience, including leadership roles in California. He co-founded RER DAO and NFT Davao, and builds decentralized, AI-driven systems for government, education and agriculture: from digital identity and automation frameworks to decision-support tools for local governments.
- Urian Buenconsejo, Community Development & Partnerships at Reverion. A former tech and crypto journalist turned strategist, Urian has spent five years building publications, podcasts and communities, and speaks on AI and blockchain for non-technical audiences.
The format
Every AI Show and Tell follows the same simple recipe: a 30-minute live demo of a real platform, workflow or tool (think "work in progress", not a pitch), followed by 20 minutes of open Q&A and optional networking.
The theme this round was using advanced technology to make institutions stronger: more transparency, better decisions and real-world impact outside Metro Manila.
