We moved past the "What is AI?" phase and into a room in Mandaue City, Cebu. On May 19, the GOAB Beach Club, Symph and Zero-Ten Park hosted an intensive, in-person AI Implementation Lab for business and tech leaders.

Stop theorizing, start implementing
Led by Tim Santos, a UK-based Filipino technology leader, product director in the AI hardware space and lead of the Philippine AI Report, the lab was built to leave every participant with a practical roadmap they could start on immediately.
How the afternoon ran
- The local landscape (1.5 hours): shifting from Silicon Valley hype to strategies that work in the Philippine business ecosystem.
- Live strategy sprint (2.5 hours): a facilitated workshop using LLMs and expert frameworks to identify and pressure-test high-impact AI use cases.
- Finalizing your 30-60-90 (1 hour): building an executable action plan, followed by expert peer review.
The "strategic duo"
We encouraged teams to come in pairs: the decision maker (founder, CEO or business lead focused on ROI) and the executor (CTO, tech or product lead responsible for implementation). Together, they leave with a roadmap that is both business-ready and technically sound.
What participants walked away with
- A personalized 30-60-90 day AI execution playbook with ROI-focused objectives.
- Ground-truth intelligence from the Philippine AI Report on regional adoption and local hurdles.
- The "Augmented Leader" framework for using AI in high-level decisions.
Moderated by Lyra Gemparo and Steven Jake Asoy of Symph.co. Thank you to Zero-Ten Park (formerly The Company) for hosting us at JDN Square, Mandaue.
The same lab came to Makati three days later. Read the Makati recap.
Catch the next one. This October we're going deeper with live, production-level AI Engineering Masterclasses. Want every session, year-round? Join the GOAB Beach Club. Questions? Email hello@geeksonabeach.com.
